Default Rome port transfers

I am sailing from Barcelona to Rome in the spring on Windstar. Does anyone have experience with independent transfers from the port at Citievecchia to the city of Rome?
I would like to arrange my own hotel accomodations.

I recommend taking the train from Rome to Citievecchia, then hopping in a taxi to get from the station to the pier. I don't recall the fare, but it was quite reasonable. You should be able to get schedules and fares on the internet.

This is a fantastic cruise experience. Have a wonderful time.
