Default SAS, United, Air New Zealand

We are getting ready to make flight reservations for our Baltic cruise in July. We have miles on United, so we can use other carriers. Any experience with SAS? Lufthansa? Air New Zealand? United?

I used to fly SAS between New York and Copenhagen or Stockholm on a regular basis. They are terrific. Lufthansa is excellent as well. I always prefer a European carrier across the Atlantic... generally better service, food and it is a bit of Europe right from the start.

Hope United stays afoat long enough for you to get your free tickets....things(finances) are in bad shape at United.

My wife and I have flown Air New Zealand to New Zealand/Australia and back and was one of the best flights I have had over the years. More room between seats in coach, great food and even served free wine with meals. I have recommended them to others and upon return agreed that it was a great Air Line to fly.

My daughter and I are flying Air France to Stockholm for that cruise. First class (mileage) if first class still exists. The food was great (again first class) going to Brazil on American last summer. I can only imagine what it will be like on Air France.

Gotta be good, Carole... but the space... and the seats... aaahhhh!

Vive la France!

They're all fine (except for United, of course). Choose on the basis of convenient scheduling.
