Help. Why am I dizzy after the cruise. I feel like I am still on the boat. The swaying and rocking. I know I partyed way too much but this can;t be a hangover. I know what that feel like and this is not it. What should I take for this. No it is not Norwalk, I don't have any of those symptoms either.
Not at all an unusual occurance I think. I rarely have any problems getting my sea legs. The motion on the ship doesn't seem to bother me.
However on several occassions when returning home it takes me a few days to get my land legs back. I still feel like I'm moving, especially if I have lots of work to do staring at the computer screen.
Not to worry. It does go away in a couple of days.
Coming thru Panama Canal with rain and mist, then hitting the Atlantic/Caribbean with 25 foot waves, we docked in Aruba and I thought I was going to fall to the ground when we disembarked!!!! Found the original Amstel beer made there, had a couple, and it did help. You may also want to try ear plugs, if you do a lot of water sports...and use the swimmer's ear drip, it clears the water up from your ears and prevents any infection.
