Default Luggage storage

Is there anywhere to leave luggage at the Miami port? I will be flying into MIA on Feb 20th and staying overnight at an airpot hotel. I would like to see some of Miami before boarding Celebrity Mercury late afternoon on Feb 21. Is there anywhere near the ship where I can leave my bags for a few hours or should I leave them at the hotel and go back for them before boarding?

i would leave your bags at your hotel, if you check-out the hotel will most likely store them for you or if you haven't check-out yet, you can leave them in your room. I would much rather have to go back to my hotel to retrieve my bags then have to go to the airport wouldn't you??

The Bellman's desk will usually have a storage room available, free of charge, for short term baggage checking.

The bellman at your hotel will surely be able to check your bags. Find out what the fee is before you do it. Some places do it for the cost of the tip, others have a per bag fee.

Linda -

Fresh off the ship in Miami and definitely leave bags at hotel. Security was much tighter regarding baggage drop off and they were cross checking bags to cruise docs upon my arrival at the port. Hotel is best bet.
