Getting from Ensenada to San Diego

We will be arriving to Ensenada on the cruise ship. Trying to figure out what is the best way to get to San Diego without paying a fortune. Cruise line charges $67/each transfer fee and since we have 5 people it seems that should be cheaper options available. Any advice?

I read on one of these threads that someone had rented a limo to go from San Diego to Ensanada, probably a better rate than 5 x $67. It ight be worth looking into, especially since they probably don't want to go back empty

Try Avis. They allow cars to be driven in Mexico. They may have an office in Ensenada, I'm not sure however.
