Default Weather in Oct in Western Carribean

What's the weather like in October (temp, rainfall, etc). Are the first 2 wks still concidered to be hurricane season? Seems like the rates are favorable during this time, but wondering if there is a 'catch'. Thanks for your help.

Henry - October is still considered hurricane season in the Caribbean, that being said, October in the Caribbean is beautiful, warm and sunny when no hurricanes are brewing.
