Default Port of Charleston, SC - Anyone sailed out of here?

We were considering a Thanksgiving week cruise out of Charleston. WOuld it be really cold out of there on our first two days at sea?

Leaving CHS either for Bermuda or the Caribbean will take you into the Gulf Stream where it will be warm(er). I'll take a cold day in Charleston to a beautiful day most anywhere else.

Jenni,

I live in Charleston, SC and have sailed out of here as well.

Most of the time the temperature around Thanksgiving is cool to warm, but we have had a couple of Thanksgivings where the fireplace was nice. It is always a good idea to take along some warm clothes just in case because we have actually been in Cozumel when a jacket didn't keep us warm (freak cold front went way south).

That is a nice sailing you are going on. Great pricing too for a Thanksgiving cruise too!

Hope this helps!
