A hex on the woman who made the horrible comment! Neptune will turn on her one day, I'm sure. I just got a brand spanking new Titanium knee and the scar represents all things good to me - mobility, freedom from pain, and a permanent "run" in my pantyhose! And if anyone comments on it, I'll kick them really hard and then kneel on their chest with Titanium strength!
I think nearly everybody has missed the point here.
It's about manners.
People should show consideration for others.
I agree whole heartedly that the lady should not have asked the lady with the scars to cover up.
I do not walk around naked because it may ofend others.
When I sunbathe in trunks - I put on shorts and a shirt to go to lunch - because people may be offended if I do not.
I do not expect people to walk past me in a thong at a lunch table. I would consider them as showing no consideration for me - and then they are being rude.
If somebody does something to offend another - then they could be accused of being rude. Best thing is.... show consideration for others around.
There ARE times when people should cover up.
Political correctness CAN go too far at times.
Let's here it then 'I have a right to show my body in all it's glory and all it's flaws - it's my legal right - I am a human being. I can do it.. Nobody has the right to stop me. I am a free citizen and nobody can tell me................ ' etc etc
