My family and I are taking our first cruise to Bermuda on Celebrity Zenith in August. One of our party is a devout Christian and is wondering if there are church services offered on all or most of the cruises. Thanks!
There are services of some sort on all the ships I've ever been on. Celebrity carries catholic priests, but I've never seen any other official ministers. Sometimes if one is traveling though they will offer to have services.
One thing I really appreciated about Celebrity was that they had a Catholic priest on board who conducted daily mass. There was a Jewish holiday during our cruise and somebody conducted a Jewish service on that day. I didn't see any nondenominational or Protestant services advertised in the daily newsletter, though.

Re: Church Services
Services conducted on board are done by volunteers...pastors or priests who are on vacation and perform the services as a consideration to other guests. I don't know of any cruise line that hires pastors/priests/rabbis for every cruise.

If you can't find a minister of your faith, there is a Gideon Bible in one of the drawers in the cabin. At least, there was in mine.
On the lighter side: As a former Catholic, I was concerned about services for any practicing Catholics aboard my February cruise. In the absence of priests, we were very close to Cuba on Sunday afternoon. I was afraid they might experience a Cuban Missal Crisis.<>
I can't help it--I like cruising puns.
