Default TA specialists?

Is there somewhere where I can find out which TA's do big business with one particular line? I mean someone who specializes in a particular cruise line and thus can give the best prices and service on that one line in particular. I've seen one mentioned for Princess, so I am wondering if there are specialists for other cruise lines as well. I think our next cruise is going to be HAL so I can choose my favorite cruise line for future cruises.

Good post! I thinks lots of Cruisemates would appreciate learning which agencies "specialize" in particular cruiselines.

I personally think a really good TA is one that knows quite a bit about ALL or the cruiselines out there. I like that because he/she can answer just about any question I throw their way.

AAA in my area has Disney Cruise specialists. But I have not noticed others specializing with other liners. I think Mike said it best, though, ask the prospective T/A if he/she is a certified Master Cruise Councelor. Shop around, never hurts to ask.

I know some agencies will deal a lot with a certain cruiseline and therefore get some specials that others don't, if you can find that out, it may help. I've found that all you need is a good travel agent that knows their stuff and is willing to get you the best price and gets back to you with your questions is worth a lot. Sometimes the price is not all that I'm concerned with, service goes a long way and if I want a price, I can always ask that travel agent and get a reply with-in a day or less, that to me is better than the cheapest price I can find.

I've also had good luck with the bargain finder, gives me information on times and prices, a good place to start if you don't already have a travel agent you can call:
