Default Which ships offer butler service in suites?

Boy, we got spoiled in the NCL Sky Penthouse! The butler service was great! What other cruise lines / ships offer butler service for suite guests? Which rooms are actually large enough to dine in? Also, what would you recommend for tipping the butlers? We were clueless and tipped about $3-5 for breakfast & lunch and $20 for dinner for four. Then another $20 per butler at the end of the cruise. The reception desk said butlers were compensated and do not depend on tips for their salary. Thanks for any info you have.

Cunard have butlers in their larger suites. (QE2 and the forthcoming QM2).

Celebrity also offers butler service in their suites. On their website they recommend tipping the butler $3.50 per person per day.

Here's some information from their web site:

Celebrity's suites also provide 24-hour European butler service, a Celebrity exclusive. This service includes:

assistance with unpacking/packing

daily news delivery

full breakfast

in-suite lunch & dinner service

in-suite afternoon tea service

evening hors d'oeuvres daily

complimentary espresso & cappuccino

shoeshine service

delivery of requested board games

Cheers,
Michelle B.

I think the Celebrity butlers must be willing to perform almost any service. Last week in Ketchikan, Hubby and I saw one of the butlers from Infinity cheerfully pushing a gentleman in a wheelchair around the Creek Street boardwalks while the gentleman's wife walked alongside. He honestly looked as though he was having a great time, even though it couldn't have been easy. We were tendered for one thing, and the walk was a bit uphill. I think he was the same butler who offered us cookies off his afternoon tea cart on Deck 9 after he had served his charges as we were walking toward the elevators.

Amazing!
