The other night in chat, I was assured by many that all cabins had refrigerators, not just suites (I think we were talking about the Radiance at the time). Art, in his column, does not state that; he left the impression that only suites have refrigerators. What is the scoop?
Good question. WE didn't have a suite on Radiance, but did have a fridge, not sure if all the cabins come with one? Although we mentioned to the cabin attendant that it was not getting cold, he said its just a cooler??? First time I've had what looked like a Fridge, just keep things luke warm?? Anyone else on Radiance have that problem?

Re: Fridge in cabins
I read that article and almost emailed Cruise Mates about it. Evidently Al needs to do a little more research, as Princess on all the Sun and Grand class ships have mini-fridges in all their cabins, Celebrity on the Millie class ships have them in all their cabins, Carnival Spirit class ships have them in their cabins.......I think he needs to publish an update to that question and answer! His answer to that question left a lot to be desired!
Carnival Breeze with Ray B and Aerogirl 5/4/14!
We have never had a suite and have always had a mini-fridge...on Celebrity, Princess and Royal Caribbean.

Hi, this site states in their review of the Celebrity Horizon that all the outside cabins have fridges, but I have been told only the the Deluxe outside cabins have them. Can anybody clear this up? thanks
I also had a Fridge at OV cabin on Radiance , it was fully stocked with soft drinks and nuts and candy. I had a bottle of Juice and just put it in there .
Had one on the Summit and it was locked the whole 14 days. I guess you have to tell them to unlock, but I did not need one anyway.
Had a so-called fridge on RCI's Voyager in May ... very small - the ice bucket won't fit inside and hardly what you would call cold. Put glasses of ice in there and they melted. Plus it comes with all sorts of soft drinks, etc. - immediately had those removed so I wouldn't be charged for stuff I didn't want.
I cruise the Emerald Princess, Eastern Caribbean on April 16, 2012
be careful for sometimes if u remove items like soft drinks to put ur own in they charge u anyway for what u removed...but one good answer, even with a fridge, is take a small (like a six pack) igloo or coleman cooler, give$5 to cabin steward first day and ask to keep it full. they will, and those small plastic ice buckets are no longer a watery or soupy issue! ALWAYS had ice this way, and if you perchance don't have a fridge, just put the am milk or whatever in the sink and put the ice chest ice in...and presto! that thing will grow more ice as soon as u see the room steward. good cool cruising! mike
