I will be on the Carnival Pride in November. I'm wondering if there are laundry facilities on board for passengers to use, perhaps on each passenger deck or do you give your clothes to be laundered to the staff?. I would prefer to do my own because some items are line dry only. It wouldn't be that big of a deal to pack something new for each day if we weren't already spending time in California at Disneyland prior to sailing. Our hotel doesn't have laundry facilities and don't want to go to a public laudromat in a strange area. With all that said, can anyone let me know? Also are there irons available to use in the rooms? Thanks!
Yes, Carnival has self service laundry rooms on each guest deck with the irons and ironing boards in the laundry room. So, just plan on doing the wash and the ironing there, they don't allow irons in cabins because of the fire hazard.
Yes, it sure makes packing lighter when you know you'll be able to wash at some point during the cruise, have fun.
Tanktop, for same reason (trip before ship) I also used the laundry on the ship. Just a warning though - I was very surprised at how BUSY it was. You would probably do best to wash very early in trip. Seems like every teenage girl on the ship was washing. (go figure)
Just back from the Pride. Beautiful(for Carnival) ship great food good service.Too many uncontroled kids for me.
Washer/dryer on most decks $2.00 for wash $2.00 for dry .50 for soap, dry bleach.
Carnival runs a wash and fold service at the end of the week. A small plastic bag
