We booked our flight ffor our Mariner cruise on 11-16 (only 4 days away through RCI. I was wondering does someone from RCI meet you at the luggage carousel? Do they take your luggage then and you don't see it again until it's in your room or will they unload it at the dock and then you will give it to a porter who will load it onto the ship?
You will need to go to the luggage claim area in the airport and actually pick up all your luggage and find the Royal Caribbean rep. They will then direct you and your luggage to the area where you will meet the bus to transfer to the port. I'm assuming you are also doing the cruiseline transfer? We took a cab to the pier the last time, so we just turned it over to the porter at the pier. You may not have to do anything else with your luggage once its on the bus, but hopefully someone that did use the transfers can give further information on what happens to your luggage once you are at the pier......
A cruise rep from RCI will meet you in baggage. You claim your own luggage off the carousel and the cruise reps will direct you to the bus area where they will load the luggage onto the buses. After that you will see your luggage in your cabin. Do not put your RCI cabin ticket tags on your luggage until you claim it at the airport, otherwise it might get lost.
