The Crucon.com website indicates that Carnival is offering reduced rates for military personnel. They include active, retired, and honorably discharged veterans as being eligible. When I called Carnival to ask about honorably discharged, they said it only applies to active and retired. Crucon told me they have a special deal with Carnival. I can't help but be skeptical. Does anyone know anything about this. I would hate to book a military rate for honorably discharged vet and find out at the pier that Carnival will not honor it. Appreciate your input. Thanks
Our family will be going on our first cruise end of Dec on Carnival. Our oldest son is in the Army Reserves and currently on high alert status for possible deployment to Iraq. We're sure he's going to be deployed, probably after the first of the year, but sure hoping he'll get to go with us on the cruise. Do you think there would be any chance that Carnival would give us a discount for him even though we booked a couple months ago?
