Miami-Ft Lauderdale cruise port transfers

We have booked back-to-back cruises. We arrive back into the Miami cruise port on Royal Caribbean the morning of 10/15 and depart from the Ft Lauderdale cruise port on Celebrity that same afternoon. Can anyone advise the best way to make the transfer, other than hiring a limo or paying a full taxi fare? Are there any scheduled shuttles, etc? Thanx!

check with the 2nd cruise line. You might be able to take ship 1's transfer to airport and ship2's transfer to boat from airport. Carnival has a transport from the airport to FLL. surely they would have one as well.

hmmmm good question, regarding the transfers, you need to ask your TA if Celebrity sails out of Miami, if they do then you need to ask your TA to find out if you can even get a transfer from their Miami terminal to their Ft. Lauderdale terminal. This way you would be guaranteed that the ship would wait if the bus got delayed for any reason. This could be a pain in the neck but at least you wouldn't have to worry about missing the ship.
Look into cab and limo costs, just allow yourself enough "wiggle" room to get to Ft. Lauderdale. Get the earliest disembarkation you can from RCCL>
