After finding this page I have been reading everything posted. I have laid out clothes and changed my mind twice already. I have bought bungie cords, power strip, bubble wrap, one of those electric water warmer thingys and some coffee singles in case I need coffee before room service arrives. I even bought a couple of small candles in case our cabin has a smell. I have extra throw away hangers and have been stock piling plastic from the dry cleaners. Now I read I need lysol. My husband is gonna kill me if I add anything else to my list! By the way he put his foot down when I wanted to buy some pink flamingo lights for the veranda!
I just wanted to say thanks for all the great advice! We leave in 26 days for the Eastern Caribbean on the Costa Atlantica and I can't wait!
I put all of our clothes on hangers after I iron them and put them in the suitcase. That way when I get into our cabin I just hang them right up and I have no wrinkles. The ships do have hangers but the ones we had were quite large, kinda like suit hangers. Its just one less thing I have to worry about.
However many clothes you've packed....TAKE SOME OUT!!

I really don't take that many. I recycle my evening clothes. 1 black dress and 2 light jackets or over blouses for formal evenings. 1 pair black pants and 2 different tops etc. I just don't like to have to think about any kind of laundry/housework when I am on vacation.
