Default questions about Carnival Victory

Hello,

We are booked on Carnival Victory for September, 2004.

A few questions please:

1. Does anyone know if cabin's 8A have a fridge in the cabin? Our cabin is next to last cabin before the aft of the ship.

2. I have read on the board somewhere that soda's were $1.50 to $3.00. A little confused as to for sure which price is correct.

3. One other thing, and I'm sorry I know this question been asked a 100 times, but are there hair dryers in 8A cabins on the Victory.

4. Are the formal nights on Victory 7 day cruise the 2 at sea day nights?

5. Also does anyone know how many hot tubs are on Victory and are there a lot of kids around and in the hot tubs, or are there any for adults only!!!?

Thanks to all for any information in advance.

The Scotts

It should have a fridge (Harry from Spirit and Pride 8 category). The Sensation is an older ship.

Hair dryer is in the crawer on Spirit and Pride.

Formal nights are the second and second to last nights on board.

Don't know on soda, but I think it's $1.50.

Hot tubs are 6 at least. Aft pool is adults only.

Hope that helps -- the ships are similar in age, so it should match.

Harry

Hi Scotts, My wife and I were on the Victory March of 2002 with an 8A cabin. (Very Nice!) Sorry, no fridge. We didn't buy sodas, but I think they are $1.50. Yes, they have hair dryers. The formal nights are the second night and, I believe, the 5th night. Can't remember how many hot tubs, but kids didn't participate in them. We went on the Eastern Caribbean itinerary. What about you? You will really enjoy the ship! jack & erlinda

It was several years ago so I can't remember all the details, but there are 2 wonderful hottubs in the fitness center and I don't remember any children there. I used the hot tubs every day. I don't normally like sauna's, but the full wall window open to the ocean was fabulous, so I tried that. The one time I went outside to the hot tub, there were lots of children. NY Carnival cruises have a lot of children in the summer.
