Default upgrades and embarkation times

Sailing on Mercury Mar 1. How do you go about getting an upgrade?
Also embarkation is 2pm. Is it worth turning up earlier?

Hi Paula,
You can call your travel agent and see what the cost would be for an upgrade, sometimes at this late date, they are more reasonable. You can usually start boarding around noon, so that would be a good time to get to the pier.

If you want an upgrade, PAY for it now!! Otherwise, check at the pier. If higher categories are available on the day of sailing, you can pay for an upgrade at that time. It will usually cost you more to upgrade at the pier as opposed to doing it before sailing. If you are depending on a FREE upgrade, then pray now, because it will not happen at the pier.
