We are cruising on the Inspiration out of Tampa in April and going to the Western Carribean which is an hour behind our time. We plan to book several private excursions. Does the ship change it's time when it crosses into a different zone? or do we adjust to island time ourselves? or do the tour operators operate on "cruise time"? Thank you.

On our last 2 Carnival cruises the times in the brochures were EST (time of departure) so I would make sure the times you start at stop fall within those times and adjust one hour.

Radisson adjusts ship time to match shore time. I guess Carnival does not (from above post). Which cruise line are you sailing?

We're sailing on Carnival - Inspiration. The first stop is in Grand Caymen which is on the same time as Tampa. All the other stops are an hour behind. How was teh transatlantic cruise? My husband and I have been looking into one.

Transatlantic is not until this November. We love sea days so should be nice.
