Mediterranean in October?

I am looking at Mediterranean cruises for October. Is this too late to go? What will the weather be like?

Re: Mediterranean in October?

We were in the Mediterranean last October; sailed from Venice to Rome. Wonderful weather; little rain and temps in 70s. Only problem was the last night we had 60-70 naut winds. Ship rocked and rolled a bit.

This October, we are cruising Greece and Turkey. We like the fact that there are less crowds, no opressive heat, and lower prices.

We sailed in November last year and it was wonderful. Weather much warmer than we expected.
