Default Wedding Info CruiseMate Staff

Just a thought for the cruisemate Staff. Have you ever thought to expand a part of your website to include information on Cruise line weddings. It seems to be a subject I see more frequently on the boards. Or a forum directed towards that topic? I have seen on other sites (which shall remain nameless) forums on such topics that seem to do very well. I like this site, its friendly staff and posters and I want this site to thrive above other sites. Just a thought to gain more traffic to your site.

That sounds like a good idea, did you e-mail Paul M. directly with your ideas?

I have forwarded it on to both Anne and Paul to get their opinions. I think it might work

Good idea. We're considering a ship board wedding and there isn't much info out there. you have to go to each cruise line web site and follow the links to get your info. So we'll see how this all pans out.

BTW we just got back from the Monarch and there were 2 ceremonies performed while at the dock in san Pedro.

Good luck!

This subject was discussed at length several months back and Paul (I think) investigated it thoroughly and discovered Princess is the only cruiseline to officially sanction marriages at sea. The others will hold a ceremony while in port so a local, authorized official from the state in which the ship is ported can perform the ceremony and make it legal.

You might do a search in the Chit-Chat forum to find that thread.

Regards,
Thomas

DD is getting married in 05. this is one option she is considering. A forum discussing the experiences would be helpful.

TK,
Thanks for the offer. We did manage to get the brochures for RCI, NCL and Princess as well as finding a forum on the topic.

It would be good to add a forum here as suggested. I find Cruisemates to be one of the top 2 that I frequent (as far as content is concerned) but it is the layout and ease of use that makes it #1. Well the friendly people help too :-)

So time to start a forum on this guys!

richard
