I am concerned about something I read about travel insurance. Is it true I have to purchase it within 10 days of booking my cruise? I booked with Carnival a month ago and they told me I could purchase their insurance up to the date of my final payment (in Oct). I've since learned that I can get insurance cheaper, but is it too late? I am afraid I am tied to Carnival's insurance now. Thanks.
I believe the only reason some companies require the 7-14 day clause is to cover "pre-existing" conditions. You can buy insurance any tme before you sail...but, you may have limited coverage.
