Default travelocity

nevber been on a cruise before but about tp purchase ticket. travelocity advertised a 5 night caribien cruise for about 450 per person. sounds like a great deal but what should i look for in hidden costs. they claim that port charge are included and most taxes what ever that mean. can someone please give me some advise. im on a tight budget to begin with, don't want surprises.

thanks jay

Hi Jay!
Why not try the Cruise Bazaar? Just post a message, being as specific as you can. I've gotten the BEST deals from Travel Agents responding to my posts. Travelocity (for the most part) charges catalog rates, so you're not getting any deal.

I, too, would get some prices with a travel agent. Something as big as a cruise, I'd like to have a human to talk to. I've used Travelocity to book hotels and in one case when I arrived at the hotel, my room was not booked. In that case, I had to pay for the room again and then take my dispute to Travelocity. It was finally resolved, but this is not something you would want to deal with on a cruise.

I got a better rate from a local TA then any online I had checked! My TA has beat priceline and travelocity by at least one category. (balcony for travelocitys oceanview price)
