We will be going on our first cruise on 11-28-04We will be on the Millie. Here is my question we are in suite 6087 .this is deck six and i hear that due to the lifeboats some of the verands have obstructed views. Does anyone know if this room's view is ok. Thank you for your help.

Looking at the deck plan of the Celebrity Millennium, the lifeboats are on deck 5 and it does not appear that any staterooms have obstructed views.

Gary... none of the staterooms on Millie are listed as "obstructed view" (you usually pay less for these cabins). The only thing you might find is that you can't look straight down and see the water because the lifeboats will be right under you. I wouldn't be too concerned... when you're in port they often take the boats down to test them or use them for tendering.

The only thing I'd be concerned about with the cabin you've got is that it's a connecting cabin (unless you're traveling with the people on the other side!). I was in one once and found it was not as sound proof. I certainly wouldn't let this stop me from going, though!!

You'll love Millie... one of my favorite ships! Be sure to try the swan creme puff! Oh, and go to the Martini bar at least once. And check out the Aqua Spa cafe for lunch... it's tucked up in the bow near the Spa, provides light lunches and hardly any people go there so it's quick and quiet.

Have fun!
