refrigerators in rooms?

Are there small refrigerators in the cabins on Carnival (ocean view stateroom)? If so - are they already filled with mini-bar stuff? Can you have it removed? My kids have food allergies and I was hoping to bring some extra stuff with us. It is not necessary, but the stuff keeps better refrigerated.

Debbie - I know you've posted several times about your cruise, but I cannot remember which ship you are booked on. It does make a difference as to whether there are mini fridges in your cabin or not. So what ship please?

Debbie on a side note - make sure you tell the senior waiter on your wait team that your kids have specific food allergies and ask him which dishes on the menu they can or cannot have.

Carnival Triumph - ocenview stateroom. Sorry. I can't remember if I had a refrigerator on NCL or not - I got to give my kids food to the chef for storage. We didn't even use it much, but it makes me feel better to have things with me. Yes, I talked to the head waiter last time on NCL too - he was very good about telling me which foods were o.k. and having the specialty chef make our food plain. Also - there is just so much to eat on a cruise, I was surprised how easy it actually was to eat there.

Triumph's sister ship, the Victory, didn't have fridges in the balcony staterooms, so i don't think that they'll have them in Triumph's oceaview either...but you can always stick it in a bucket of ice...we had brought food and did that...the steward just kept refilling it periodically.
