Can anyone tell me the cost of ground taxi or bus to from Marco Polo , Venice to cruise terminal --Maritima. Two people and luggage. Am not inerested in the Alilaguna Water bus) website as I understand it is a 2 hour commute and we will have been traveling for many many hours. thanks
We've taken the bus to the carpark (near the ship terminal) a couple times. It's about 20 minutes, and I can't remember the price--but I know it was nominal, nothing to worry about.
We just returned from the Westerdam's maiden voyage. Ground taxi is about $30 (or less). One couple found a limo service on the internet and had a driver waiting for them (mercedes too) Their driver didn't want to be paid until he picked them up after the cruise.
It is about a 15 minute taxi ride. We paid $78 for HAL's bus from the airport to the terminal. We shared a water taxi on the return trip $90 total so we each paid 45.
With your luggage go for the taxi/limo forget about public transportation especially on the valporetti.
