Default Has cruise prices gone up?

Is it my imagination...has cruise prices gone up?

I was just checking out some cruises for next year and it seems that the ones that were around $600 to start are now $700 and up.

Being only a two-year-old cruiser, I was wondering if the prices are now back to where they used to be before 9/11 or maybe the price gasoline has raised the prices.

Anyone else fee they have gone up also?

As I closed out my email to enter this site I was erasing a number of cruise solicitations where outside cabins and balconey rooms were runnung $69 to $90 dollars a day. I believe cruise prices will remain relatively low, subject to demand of certain markets and times of the year. Why, because of the glut of new ships continuing to pour into the cruise market. As long as this continues over the next year or so and until older ships are taken off the market, supply and demand will keep many cruise prices low.
Don't I almost sound like I know what I'm talking about?

PapaBill...you always know exactly what you are talking about and we all love you for it.

Hubby and I usually do inside cabins so that keeps the prices way down as well. We would rather spend the extra cash on the specialty restaurants and martinis.

Just got off a cruise last week and my husband said he has to put me on a St. Thomas budget from now on, I wanted everything. I said no problem...I can make my dollar and jewelry buying stretch. I am still seeing diamonds in my eyes.

Thanks for the info, gotta go and check out some cruise prices.

You are very articulate for a two-year-old cruiser!

Cheers,
