We have booked a cruise 11 days, from Vancouver to Hawaii, crossing the Pacific for five days.
One would think the ship would only cross during the better times to sail, yet having had a poor experience on a repositioning cruise, LA to Vancouver I am not certain.
Has anyone travelled during that time, or crossed the Pacific for that length of time? Experiences? I have a small child and am concerned that being out there, no land around we may be hooped if in very very rough seas.
Also, we have been offered an upgrade to top of the ship. I understood the higher you went on the ship, the more movement you would experience. Is this true??
You'll have the least motion in a cabin on a lower deck admidships. I've sailed from Hawaii to Vancouver, but in the spring...no problems at all with rough seas. Enjoy your cruise!
