Default elevators

I booked 2 outside cabins side-by-side near the elevators. Is there going to be a lot of noise here?

Some noise yes, how much depends on the ship and its elevators. No way to tell until you get on board. I usually book near an elevator but allow 1 or two cabins away to allow for noise for this very reason.

Best of luck.

Stacey,
We once had a cabin by the elevators, didn't notice any more noise and it was easy to find our cabin, hope its the same for you, enjoy!

This is usually a double edged sword. You are near the elevators so you don't have much of a walk but then everyone down the hall is walking past your door all hours of the night and day.

Regards,
Thomas

We really like the convenience of being close to the elevators, the only time that is noisy is before dinner and in the morning on port days when everyone is trying to go ashore.

Thanks for answering! I'm sure we will be okay. We don't go to bed early anyway.

We really prefer the convenience of being close to the elevators. Didn't experience excess noise at all.

Cheers,
Michelle P.
