we are travelling october , my husband, girl 14 years and boy 10 years on triumph
we are from the netherland antilies Curacao.....a lovely island in the carribean
we speak 4 languages dutch and papiamento, and on school the children get english and spanish lessons.
if the children want to participate in camp carnival would the language be a problem?
why would there be a problem? your children speak english and spanish.
when children are among themselves, language is not a problem.
Only grown-ups have problems with themselves when they don't understand
a language. I am from quebec. There is a french and english problem there.
I think the children AND even yourselves will find the language issue is NO PROBLEM>... so many different countries & nationalities are represented onboard.... Have a great time !
Location: Wisconsin....about 100 miles south of the Frozen Tundra and 70 miles east of Camp Randall

Re: not americans
I agree with the two above posters. There will not be a problem! You and your children will not have a problem communicating....in fact you may even get to use your Dutch on board the ship!
You will be surprised. The universal language is a smile. And most people are smiling on a nice cruise like that. Language will be a bonus, not a problem.
