Does anyone know of the prices they charge to have your hair styled on the ship victory? I do not want them to cut it just to dry and use a curling iron on it. Also what about the prices on massages etc.?
I haven't been on the Victory but was on the Inspiration in April 2004. I thought both the spa and salon service prices were high compared to what I pay at home. As I recall a 30 min massage was about $100. My daughter, who has hair to the middle of her back wanted an updo for formal night. She was quoted $110. If you decide to use the spa services wait until the end of the week or on a port day. They run specials then. Hope this helps.

Victory, here I come!! - October 2, 2004
Glad you asked this Sandy. I've let my hair get long (and it'll be even longer in September!) and I have been wondering if I didn't want an elegant "do" for formal night, but totally lack the ability to do something wonderous myself!
$30-$40 is within my range. $100 would NOT be!

for me i had my medium length bob, washed, and styled dryed. I had a great stylist who dryed my hair to make it look like she has used a curling iron, she did a grea job, i bought my own sparkly barette for that extra touch . Total cost with tip $40.00, really worth it.
last two times I had my hair done it was about $80 before tip and the last time I brought my own curlers all they did was roll the hair and then remove the curlers when dry and run fingers through it.
the first time was an updo with a complete incompetant man who "filled in" for the person scheduled to do it, and again it was $80 and I had to rip it out and redo it myself the moment I was back to my cabin.
I think he was filling in from his reg job in the engine room to look at my hair!!!
