I am getting married on the August 7th sailing of the Caribbean Princess. We have additional guests who would like to book, but the sailing is sold out. We were told that sometimes travel agencies hoard rooms for themselves. How do you find out if anyone has rooms left? A simple web search has not been successful? Any tips/tricks?
I'd call around to all travel agents in your area and shop online at all cruise agents there. Good luck! Something else you might try is getting on the list of "stand by", if that is possible. It's just like stand by on an air line. Call Princess direct.
Tami... try CruiseCompete.com. If your guests are willing to accept any cabin, I bet someone on that website can find cabins. You have to register but it's no big deal. Put in your date and ship and specify that you'll take any cabin. If there are some left, you should hear within a day or two. The rates are pretty amazing, too.
