Default Hurrican Tracking

Does anyone have a good website where I can track hurricanes.?

I am leaving from Orlando, on Carnival Glory and hearing about hurricane Frances.

Also any tips on what I should do to be prepared?

I use the National Hurricane Center; always like getting info from source. I like their satellite info too.

By the way, no ships leave from Orlando, we are landlocked. I think you are cruising from Port Canaveral. Have a great time!

One of the best sites I have found is hurricantrack.com. This site has a fantastic Java map of any named storms in the Atlantic. This site is being run by hurricane trackers, they have live updates and web cams on there trucks. There are also a lot of great links to other sites.

www.stormtrack.tv

This is our local tv stations tracking info....Or you can try the NOAA website.
I prefer a website that shows the path, etc....so I go to the stormtrack one

I live in Florida and am constantly checking the latest. The very best site, (I think) is Hurricanealley.net. You can view all the models, track etc. There is also a site that has Dr. Gary Gray the big hurricane guru update at 8:30 est each evening. Milleniumweather.com, then go to tropical discussions. Hope this helps.

I have to agree with Marc that the best, most up to date info comes from the NHC site. We have it on our computers all day long at work.

It was right on with Charley.
