I am an avid believer in making my trip planning calmer by creating lists. While reading all the informative posts online here, I jot down notes like do not forget to bring ...binoculars.
Is there a way (or are there too many opinions out ther) that we can create a place to post suggested items for packing, maybe a list would prevent that one item someone said you know I should have remembered that.... just telling a man not to forget to pack a belt for the dress pants helps or how about black dress socks! Just a thought.
We can call it suggested Master packing list modify according to needs and additional suggestions welcome.

There are many packing list posts and they usually end up being quite long. There are many opinions on what is required and what isn't.
If you click on "Search" and do a search on "Packing List" you will come up with many ideas.
Note: Click the "Search all Forums" button.
However: If anyone would like to add their ideas for essential items, feel free to post it.
I am of the opinion that the only things you HAVE TO HAVE are: Money, credit card, valid ID, Medication and a reservation. Everything else can be purchased.
try looking on the practical advice section under cruise dress/packing. Also under the articles section there is a whole bunch of stuff for first time cruisers that include suggestions of what to pack etc.
Too many items many people pack--you speak the truth.
I like the suggestion I read of bringing "old clothes like t-shirts, undergarments etc"--someone said throw them away--more room for trip items you could not live without.
I like that thinking.
