Default NYC

I am sailing on the Legend in Oct. and embarkation is between 2:00 and 3:30. What is the best time to get to the port in New York. Is it a disaster or an organized area? Should I arrrive about 1:00? thanks Dee

Sure, 1:00 is fine. If you're not a New Yorker, or haven't spent much time there, I'd spend the day enjoying one of the world's great cities and get to the ship about two hours before sailing (as opposed to earliest embarkation time). New York's more interesting than being on the ship sitting at the pier.
