Default Clock question please

I am trying to put countdown clocks for our back to back Voyager cruise in May. The first clock comes up but the second one doesn't. Anyone have any solution for someone with very little computer skills? Thanks

Mary L.

For someone with "very little computer skills" you did a pretty good job. The problem was one darn space in the second string of characters. The character string is actually a command and computers are REALLY dumb. If there is one space where it isn't supposed to be they don't know what to do.

It took me a few tries to figure out what the problem was but I found it and now it is working.

One note: The signature field is 255 total characters. This includes all the / and http's and special characters. You are just about at the max, so you really can't add anything more to the signature.

Good job.
Mike

lydna:
Go to the bottom of this page and the bottom of all message board pages and click on "Message Board Tricks". There are detailed instructions and an EXACT example of the countdown clock. Copy and paste the example into your signature and just change the month, day, year and time numbers.

Remember to include all the brackets. They are needed.

Take care,
Mike

I tried to list both but as you can see I must have wiped out the first one and the second one now comes up. How do you get them both together?

Okay, I have the days right on my clock, but not too sure about the hours and minutes. Any way to edit this?

anniverary:

Yes:
The hour parameter is changeable; You currently have it set at 6:00. This is invalid and is throwing your clock off.

The time for the clock is taken from the server which is on Central U.S. time.

If your cruise is leaving at 5:00 PM from Fort Lauderdale and you were in the Central time zone you would set the time to &hour=16:00.

If you are in the Eastern time zone. &hour=17:00
Mountain: &hour=15:00
Pacific &hour=14:00

The &hour parameter is based on a 24 hour clock or military time in which 17:00 is 5:00 PM.

Take care,
Mike
