Default Age-appropriate family cruises

Took our first cruise last May as chaperones for our 16 year old's high school band (Sovereign of the Seas to the Bahamas) and had a great time. Now thinking about a family cruise in the late spring/early summer - after school lets out.
Looking for any suggestions for ships/destinations that would offer activities appropriate for a 16 year old & 20 year old - as well as mom & dad.
Thanks,
Joe

I think any Carnival or Royal Caribbean trip would fit well. Early summer, after school lets out will have plenty of kids onboard for your kids to hang with. Carnival and RCI will have plenty of things going on to keep you happy too.

A word of advice though. At that time of year you won't find many discounts on tickets. This is the peak season and the ships are usually full for the same reason you want to go then.

Regards,
Thomas

Princess - Grand Class Ships - great ships.
Princess has freshwater pools as opposed to salt water and they are open 24hrs.
Hot tubs are open 24hrs also. Movies Under the Stars is a really popular feature on Princess - outdoor movie - you reserve a padded lounge chair, you get a blanket & popcorn. Mini-golf, basketball, ping-pong, billards, life-size chess/checker board.

My refcommendation would be first with one of the Voyager Class ships with RCI going to the Western Caribbean. Then it would be either RCI or CCL again going to the western Caribbean.

I also have to agree when cruising with families/kids try any of the "Voyager" class ships. They have more activities, good food, great service and entertainment. They even have an ice show thats not to be missed.
