Next month I will be going on my 5th Carnival Cruise. I was just wondering why cruise lines dont let past guests have priority boarding. I dont think it's necessarily fair that you need to book a suite to receive such priviliges. After all 5 sailings is a lot .
to Silver Cloud,You have enough cruises with RCCL and Cccl to go to Priority boarding .It depends on what port you leave from. When you go into the terminal look for the signs directing you to the area.If you have a Crown and Anchor card that is all you have to show.
Celeberty cl is owned by RCCL.and they just started to use the C & A and I think it is the Captains club together.
On Carnvial cruises the only priority boarding is for Skippers Club members. The only way to be a Skippers Club member is to book a Cat 11 or Cat 12 suite. You are only a Skippers Club member for the duration of the cruise.
During the cruise being a Skippers Club member gets you a Cat 11 or Cat 12 suite. <VBG>
I personally find that Carnival has the least number of benefits for their past passengers.

We booked Cat 12 on Elation last April and I don't remember the luggage tags being marked VIP. The baggage all goes with the porter before you get to the skippers club check in area. I don't think we got our luggage any faster than anyone elses, we just got through the check in faster and therefore onto the ship quicker.
