Hal had a recent promo, #267 I believe. In essence it was catagory upgrades or $50 pp shipboard credit for suite bookings.
When I booked (online agengy) I asked for a specific cabin (suite) & got it. No upgrades were asked for. When my docs arrived, no credits were given, a call to HAL only informed me that my agent would have to call them.
Well she has ignored my phone calls & e-mails. It's no big deal, but it bugs me.
What's the deal here? Do those credits come out of commisisons or from Hal?
Right now it's the principle that bugs me! Any advice?
Your agent should return your calls and explain if the promotion could be used with your booking and if it cannot, why. Many promotions do have a number of limitations, such as: For New Bookings Only.
I would continue to try to contact your agent or if they do not return your calls, ask to speak with a supervisor and find out if this promotion could be used. If it can't, it can't but you deserve an answer.
