Default taxi or carnival transportation

Does it make a difference if I take one of those carnival buses to the port or take a taxi? Is one cheaper then the other? Is one quicker then the other? Buses have more luggage to load and unload as well as more passengers, I want to be on my ship ASAP. Im going to Port Everglades which I know is very close to airport.

I beleive you will find a taxi much easier and quicker. If you take the Carnival bus, you
have to wait at the airport for a group, tip a porter to handle your luggage, wait for the
luggage to be loaded, ride to the port, wait for luggage to be unloaded, and deal with lots of people. You will probably find a taxi cost about the same. Good Luck.

Port Everglades is only 5 minutes from the airport, and a taxi (make sure they use the meter) should be about $8.00.

In a lot of other places I would say use the CL transfers, but not in Ft Lauderdale.

We took a taxi from Port Everglades to an airport hotel (within sight of airport) and with the additional charge for extra passengers (6 of us in the taxi van) our fare was $12 and $7.50 of that was for the additional passengers.

You can actually see the red ,white and blue Carnival "whale tail" in the port from the airplane!

Enjoy your cruise!

Thanks for your advice. I think I will do the taxi now, it is cheaper then Carnivals price and sounds like It will be faster.
