Default Room

Never been on a cruise and I am reading how small the rooms are. I booked with MSC for 3/26 thru 2/2 for my wife and I and son who is 8, what accomodations do they make for 3 in a room, do they provide bunk beds. Do I have to arrange this ahead of time?

Some rooms have bunks that pull out of the wall. If your room doesn't, they will bring in a rollaway. We've had both types of rooms. When we had the rollaway it was removed during the day.

Make sure your TA books a Triple cabin with a bunk bed that folds down in the cabin. Let them know in no uncertain terms that a rollaway is not acceptable. There just really isn't enough room to have a rollaway in there comfortable. They tried to do this once to us when my wifes sister was sailing with us. While I love my sister-in-law dearly, I was not about to sleep with her as a rollaway basically made the room into one huge bed. <G>
