Default Bahamas Immigration Cards

I've got these almost filled out, BUT what do I put for port of embarkation? New York is where we are leaving from originally, or do they mean the port we are leaving from immediately before arriving in Nassau (Great Stirrup Cay)? Also do I put 0 for the length of stay (it says nights and we are not staying overnight)?
Thanks so much for your help.
Nancy

Yes, you would fill in NY in that field. That's the port you are emarking from. Once you're in Great Stirrup Cay you are in the Bahamas.

You could put in 0 or 1 for the length of stay. Doesn't matter. The Immigration Form tells them you are on a ship which might stay for hours, or in some cases overnight. That form is really meant for long term visitors, such as business people who may be conducting business in their country.

Regards,
Thomas (who thinks the real reason for the form is departure tax accounting)

Just to let you know ,that form will be taken from you at the arrival desk when you check in.So make sure all your forms are filled out ,it makes things go faster, because it never fails that when you get to embarkation some one will be standing there filling the forms out. Also you can fill the forms out on line and not have to worry about paper work.

Wherever you get on the ship at is the place you put for the embarkation. If you are flying from NYC to say FFL and then get on the ship and go to the Bahamas you put in FFL. If the ship actually leaves from NYC and that is where you got onboard then that is the port you place in there. We always put 1 in the box but I really doubt they care, they just want to know how many people come into the Bahamas.
