Default Priceline

I need to book a hotel room for 4 people and according to Priceline their rooms are for 2 adults. Has anyone ever booked for 4 using Priceline?

I don't think you can book for more than 2 on Priceline. The reason is that there are some areas that have hotels with very small rooms that only accommodate 2. However, many of the hotels (at least in Fort Lauderdale) can accommodate 4 adults. We got the Embassy Suites and Airport Sheraton and had no problem having our son (24) stay with us. We did have to pay $5-10 at the Sheraton for a roll away bed. Check out the hotel list on priceline and call a few in the catagory you are interested in to see if they have rooms for 4 adults. Most have 2 double/queens available.

Check out this website: http://www.biddingfun.com/

Amber knows alot about the hotels in the area and gives great advice! Email her with any questions. She's great!

Good Luck

Kathy

Thanks Kathy. I did read the biddingfortravel and from what I could tell there was no way to guarantee 4 could fit in a room. I ended up booking on Hotwire as you can put in how many you need a room for and got the Wyndham Westshore for $78 a night. I called to confirm and we have a room with two double beds. Needless to say I was very happy and would definitely use Hotwire again if I have more than 2 traveling.

I use Priceline all of the time and generally travel in a group of four. We have never had trouble getting a room with two double beds. I usually call the hotel after I get the reservation and request a double room. The hotels are always accomodating, and have never asked how many in the room.
