Our flight arrives in Miami at 11:50 a.m. for a cruise on Radiance that leaves @5:00 p.m. How early will we be able to board and what activities, restaurants, shops, etc. will be available and about when?
You should be able to board when you get to the port, they usually start around noon. Once you are onboard you can get some lunch, explore the ship and find your cabin. The shops, casino, etc. will not open until you have left port. Plan on dinner at the regular time, and have fun!
Donna is correct, you will be able to board as soon as you get there and check in. Make sure you have done your documents on line with Royal Caribbean, it makes check in much quicker. All shops, casino etc. will be closed until ship has left Miami. The Windjammer will be open for lunch. A suggestion would be to go straight to your stateroom and drop off your carry-ons, program your safe, check out your dining room table and go up top for your first drink and some food. If there is time before lifeboat muster (usually at around 4:30) check out the ship. Have a great cruise.
Peggy, If your daughter is anything like mine. She will be so busy checking out the ship she won't notice the pool! The buffet will be open too (lots of goodies there!). At 14, I think she would be safe cruising around the ship. If she's social, she will meet new friends and *POOF* be gone. You may want to bring 2 way radios just to find her when you need her!
