I booked a cabin with AAA last August on the Mercury. We were assigned 6127 on the Vista Desk. We requested this cabin with money donw and received documentation stating this from AAA. I found out today they booked us in the farthest part of the boad. We are not happy at all, any suggestions?

I need to calarify the last message, sorry. I booked the cruise this last March. We sail on the 5th of August from Seattle to Alaska. I received an assigned cabin in cabin 9167. I decided to transfer to my credit card company to receive a 250 dollar credidt. I was ready to pay the balance until the travel agent said I was assigned to the very front of the boat. I am not happy at all, I hope nobdy else encounters this problem with AAA.
I am going to contact AAA tomorrow, I hope they can explain what happened and some resolution. I have documentation with my assigned cabin of 9167. Any created suggestions in my approach? Thanks for any help!

When you book an assigned cabin the TA checks with the cruiseline and makes sure that cabin is available before a deposit is made. So, you really shouldn't have been moved without them asking you if it was ok. The only thing I can think of is the number of berths in that room.....sometimes, if you book a triple or a quad room but only need a double, you could be moved if somebody needs that room. Could this be the case with you? Hope you are able to work this out.

I suggest you call AAA and ask for a supervisor to iron out this problem. If one supervisor doesn't help, go to another. Keep going higher and it will somehow be resolved to your satisfaction.

Remember, AAA is a company in the service business.

I am glad to report that AAA took care of their mistake. The manager at the Mary Ester Florida location did a very good job. I really appreciate her effort in this problem solving solution. Thank you C. I will use you in the future!
