We have booked a 4-day cruise leaving July 7th. We haven't purchased travel insurance - last year we did the same cruise and we purchased through Carnival. Two years ago I had a brain hemorrhage the day before we were to leave to go on a booked beach vacation....so I know how important insurance is...what is the cheapest way to purchase it - I went to insuremytrip.com - but honestly I didn't know what I was looking at or for. Carnival wants $79.00 per person - should I just go ahead and purchase through Carnival - should I just risk doing without it? The trip is in 23 days. Thanks for your help!
Here are a few travel insurance companies you can check, we've been using CSA the past few cruises and even had to make claims. While the last one took too long to process, we finally did get the cost of the cruise refunded through them:
Check down a little further on this thread. I started the same post not long ago and received quite a bit of information that was helpful. Ended up buying insurance for about 50.00 per person that is pretty comprehensive, I think!?!?!!
