Default RCCL transfers to the ship

We are leaving Pennsylvania on a bus which transfers people from PA to the Voyager in Bayonne. These are RCCL transfers which we paid RCCL for. The problem is...we are not scheduled to get to Bayonne until 3:30, and the ship leaves at 6pm. People tell me that is cutting it too close. But if they are RCCL transfers...and that is their schedule...what are we to do? If the bus would break down, or be running late...would the ship really leave without us if it was their own transfer service?????

Thats the nice thing about RCI transfers-it will be RCIs responsibility to get you on board that ship. On our last cruise over New Years, weather and the US Air problems delayed lots of people. We ended up leaving home port late to wait for a large group (transportation arranged by RCI) and the next day in Nassau we left late so we could wait for another large group to board (this group, also using RCI, didnt even make the ship in Miami, so RCI made sure they got to Nassau and on board).

Just do the transfers, they will know the number of passengers yet to arrive at the pier. I have a simular problem for my next cruise, although we did our own air, but once we get to Orlando, the Carnival transfers will take people to the pier as long as they have a flight in no later than 1:30, ours is supposed to land at 12:58, so its cutting it short.
