Default dress for alaska

how cold does it really get on the dogsleds and glacier in august? do I need a winter parka?

If you're dog sledding on a glacier, it DOES get cold. However we made do layering. A long sleeved shirt, sweater and a hoody style sweatshirt.

Polar tec is lightweight and warm. Take a light jacket, scarf, hat and gloves. It will be cold.
