We are going on the AOS in Oct. The rest of the excursions are listed for our itinerary and I already booked one. The one I am waiting for in Curacao isn't there. One day there were only two, then they added a few more. But it is certainly less than the browse listing. Should I just be patient? Is it poosible they have discontinued the rest for some reason?
You may want to ask this on the cruise line discussion board. Your experience is like mine when I tried to book with Carnival. The closer to the sailing date, the more excursions added. Carnival explained it this way: they have to wait to confirm the number of available spots with the local tour operators before they can make them available on-line. Makes sense.
There is a certain time before you are allowed to book certain excursions. Just have patience and they will appear for you to book. If theydo not appear rest assured that for some reason they are not offering that tour on that cruise. I don't think there is any discount for booking early. It is done simply to help assure you that you will get the tour.
RCI told me it's because the new season fro excursions begins in October. The redo all the excursions and update the prices at that time. I'm going to the Western Caribbean in Nov. The old excursion list had 53 pages. The new one is up to 33 pages. It started out at 3. It just depends on when vendors respond (I guess). I just hope they get it done before the 60 day window begins
